Sheriff's Ledger is a full records system for your sheriff's office, built to look like it belongs in 1899. No tablets, no modern UI: lawmen open a leather-bound ledger with a brass star, write reports on aged paper, pin wanted posters to a wooden board and give orders to their deputies.
It runs on VORP and RSG out of the box. The framework is detected automatically, and everything is stored in your own database through oxmysql.
Features
Citizen Registry
- Search any character by name or ID, online or offline
- Profile with mugshot, sheriff's notes, criminal records, warrants, fines and linked reports
- "Wanted" and "In town" stamps at a glance
- Optional FX-Idcard integration: pulls the ID card photo, birthplace, date of birth, height, weight, hair and eye colour straight into the profile
Criminal Records & Penal Code
- Pick charges from your penal code, with a count for each charge
- Total fine and jail time (in months) are calculated server-side, so the client can't change them
- Optionally issue the total as a fine, collected automatically if the person is online and has the cash
- Fully editable penal code in
config.lua (30 western charges included)
Incident Reports
- Title, type, location and a lined-paper report body
- Lawmen on scene and people involved
- Evidence: photos (shown as thumbnails, click to enlarge), items, witness statements
- File a criminal record for anyone involved directly from the report; it is linked both ways
Wanted Posters
- Issue warrants with a bounty; every lawman on duty is notified
- Posters are nailed to a wooden board, then stamped CAPTURED or VOID when closed
Fines
- Unpaid, paid and cancelled lists with search
- Players can check and pay their own fines with chat commands (command names are set in config)
OnFinePaid hook to send the money to your society/boss menu
Bulletin Board
- Post notices and BOLOs (wanted person, horse or wagon descriptions)
- Urgent notices and BOLOs alert every lawman on duty
- Latest notices are shown on the dashboard
Command Tools for Senior Ranks
- Orders: give tasks to lower-ranked lawmen (title, location, priority, instructions). They get notified, mark the order as under way or done with a note, and the issuer is notified when it's done
- Personnel files: stats, orders, commendations, warnings, reprimands and private notes
- Suspension: a suspended lawman can't open the ledger; if it's open it closes immediately
- Command actions only work on lawmen ranked below you, and this is enforced server-side
Roster & Activity Log
- Roster of every lawman with badge number, rank, on/off duty, last seen and their reports, records, fines, warrants and open orders
- Activity log of who did what and when: reports, records, warrants, fines, notices, orders and suspensions. Filter it by lawman or by text
Technical
- Frameworks: VORP and RSG, auto-detected (can be forced in config)
- Database: oxmysql. Tables are created automatically on first start, and new columns are added automatically when you update
- Opening:
/mdt command and/or a usable item. You can optionally limit the command to sheriff office desks - Permissions: every sensitive action has a minimum grade in
config.lua, and all checks are done server-side - Security: every request is validated on the server (job, grade, suspension and input lengths), and all user text is escaped in the UI
- Languages: English and Turkish included; add your own with a single locale file
- Hooks:
OnRecordCreated (connect your own jail script) and OnFinePaid (send fine money to your society) - Performance: no client-side loops; the client only reacts to opening and closing the ledger
- Notifications use the framework's own system (VORP tips, ox_lib or RSG notify)
Requirements
- VORP Core or RSG Core
- oxmysql
